Gear Oil In Transfer Gearbox

Gear oil level in transfer gearbox, checking and topping off
- Separate right-hand exhaust pipe from rear exhaust system at double clamp. Push front exhaust pipe in area of Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) to right. Refer to Exhaust System.





- Remove filler plug (arrow -B-) to check gear oil level and top off to lower edge of hole with gear oil.
^ Gear oil specification.
^ Always replace filler plug
- Install new filler plug.
Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.)
