A - Brake pedal position switch (F47) or brake light switch (F)
- Together in one housing, in footwell
B - Accelerator pedal position sensor (G79 and G185)*
- In footwell on accelerator pedal:
C - Clutch pedal position switch (F36)
- In footwell

1 - Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve (N80)*/**
- EVAP system
2 - Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor (G40)*
- Below the upper toothed belt guard
3 - Intake manifold
4 - Throttle valve Control module (J338)*
- No cable disc for accelerator cable as this is an electronic accelerator system
- 6- pin connector
- Contacts gold plated
5 - Oxygen sensor 1 before catalyst (G39)*, 50 Nm
- Fitting location: In exhaust manifold
- Grease only the threads with G 052112 A3; G 052112 A3 must not get into the slots on the sensor body
6 - 6-pin connector
- Black: for oxygen sensor 1 before catalyst (G39) and oxygen sensor heating (Z19)
- Contacts gold plated
- Right on underside of vehicle
7 - Oxygen sensor 2 after catalyst (G130)*, 50 Nm
- Location: in rear of catalyst
- Grease only the threads with G 052 112 A3; G 052 112 A3 must not get into the slots on the sensor body
8 - 4-pin connector
- Brown: for oxygen sensor 2 after catalyst (G130) and oxygen sensor heating (Z29)
- Connector contacts 3 and 4 are gold-plated.
- Right on underside of vehicle
9 - 81-pin harness connector
- Only disconnect or connect with ignition switched off
- Release to disconnect
10 - 40-pin harness connector
- Only disconnect or connect with ignition switched off
- Release to disconnect
11 - Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM)-J220-*
- Location: below inner cover of plenum chamber, left side in passenger compartment
12 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor (G70)* with intake air temperature sensor (G42)*
- Contacts gold plated
13 - Secondary air pump motor relay (J299)*/**
- Secondary air System: Components assembling and disassembling.
14 - Air cleaner
15 - Main fuses
- for additional protection
16 - Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Heating Element - N79-
17 - Engine - Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62- *
- If necessary release pressure in cooling system before removing
