Brake pedal, removing and installing

WARNING: The brake pedal travel must not be restricted by additional floor coverings.

1. Mounting bracket
2. Pivot pin for clutch and brake pedal
- Installation position: Groove (arrow) faces toward clutch pedal.
3. Locking clip
4. 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
5. Brake pedal
- Place on pin
6. Clutch pedal
- Clutch master cylinder adjustment dictates position.

7. Pin
8. Locking clip
9. Master cylinder
10. 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
11. Over-center spring mounting
- Install in mounting bracket
12. Over-center spring

13. Bolt
- 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
- Secures clutch pedal and brake pedal pivot pin
14. Seal
15. Bolt
- 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
- Secures brake master cylinder and brake booster
