Selector lever cable, checking and adjusting
Checking
- Shift selector lever into Park position "P"





- Take selector lever cable -1- off selector shaft lever -2- on transmission upward.
- Move selector lever from "P" to "1 "
^ Shift mechanism and selector lever cable must move freely. If necessary replace selector lever cable or service shift mechanism.
- Shift selector lever into Park position "P"
- Shift selector shaft lever to "P." The parking lock should engage and it should not be possible to turn the two front wheels in the same direction.
^ It should be possible to push the selector lever cable onto the selector shaft lever. Adjust selector lever cable if necessary.
