Brake Pedal, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove trim below instrument panel.





- Remove screws -1-.
- Remove cover -A-.





- Remove connecting plate between clutch and brake pedals (manual transmission)
- Remove brake light switch.
- Disconnect accelerator cable.
- On vehicles with accelerator pedal position sensor, release connector below instrument panel.
- Disconnect brake pedal from brake booster. Brake Pedal to Brake Booster, Disconnecting and Connecting
- Remove nuts.
- Remove pedal cluster.
- Remove brake pedal.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
- Adjust brake light switch. Refer to Lighting and Horns.
