Technician Safety Information

WARNING: Fire hazard! Do NOT have anything in the area that can ignite Diesel fuel.

To prevent injuries to persons and/or damage to the fuel injection and glow plug systems, note the following:
- Do not touch or disconnect glow plug wiring when engine is running or being cranked at starting speeds.
- Switch OFF the ignition before disconnecting or connecting fuel injection or glow plug system wiring or test cables.
- If the engine must be turned over without starting, e.g. when checking compression, disconnect fuel cut-off valve N109 harness connector on injection pump.
