Air Injection Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve: Description and Operation

PURPOSE

The Air Control Solenoid is a solenoid valve that controls the opening and closing of the diaphragm operated Air Injection Check Valve located on the cylinder head.

OPERATION

The Air Control Solenoid is operated by the Motronic ECM. The Air Control Solenoid valve controls vacuum supply to the Air Injection Check Valve.
