Condition
In some cases, the vacuum hose leading to the Combi-valve for the Secondary Air system may not be fully seated on the Combi-valve tube.
Service
Beginning with the VIN's as shown.
Note:
VIN engine code B (bolded above) indicates vehicles with Secondary Air Injection System.
At the PDI or whenever a vehicle is in for any service:
- Always check the vacuum -1- hose at the
Combi-valve -2- for proper installation
^ The hose should have a tight fit.
^ The hose must be fully seated (against stop) on the Combi-valve tube.
If hose is not fully seated:
- Push hose -1- on tube as far as it will go
(against the stop).
