Condition

Loss of memory in the multi-function indicator (MFI) circuit for the clock and trip odometer due to insufficient voltage stabilization at temperatures of 32°F (0°C) and below.

Revised voltage stabilizer installed in PC board of instrument cluster as of 1/23/95 with VIN:SE_134152

Service

- Remove instrument cluster Repair Manual Passat m.y. 1995 Electrical Equipment (W42012194111) Page 9O-1.

- Replace PC board on instrument cluster with:
