Glow Plugs With Burned Electrodes, Checking





Burned electrodes on glow plugs are frequently caused by faulty injectors. Damage of this nature is not due to causes related to the glow plugs themselves.

If damage of this nature is found -arrow- it is not sufficient to merely replace the glow plug. The injectors must also be tested for opening pressure and leakage.
