FUEL INJECTION PUMP, SERVICING

The following sealing operations can be performed on the injection pump:
- Observe rules for cleanliness
- Throttle lever or return spring, removing and installing
- Throttle lever bushing -36-, throttle lever O-ring -34- and seal -32- between pump cover and pump body, replacing
- O-ring -11- for fuel delivery adjustment screw, replacing
- O-ring -3- for idle speed boost shaft, replacing
- O-ring -28- for timing control cover, replacing
- O-ring -20/22- for CSA lever/cover, replacing





1 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
2 - Injection pump cover
3 - O-Ring
4 - Thrust ring
5 - Idle speed lever
6 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
7 - Circlip
- Pry off using screwdriver
8 - Spring
9 - Upper spring plate
10 - Lower spring plate
11 - O-Ring
12 - Washer
13 - Fuel delivery adjustment screw
- Mark installation position
14 - Idle speed adjustment rod
15 - Spring washer
16 - Washer
17 - CSA lever
- Mark installation position
18 - Retainer for CSA lever
19 - Thrust ring
20 - O-Ring
21 - CSA cover
22 - O-Ring
23 - Fuel shut off valve, 40 Nm (30 ft lb)
- Must click when ignition is switched on and off
24 - O-Ring
- Replace
25 - Valve with spring
- Replace together with fuel shut off valve
26 - Line connection with pressure valve
27 - Shims
- Do not change assembly sequence
28 - O-Ring
29 - Spring for timing control
30 - Cover for timing control
31 - Throttle lever shaft
- Press out with screwdriver handle
32 - Gasket
33 - Thrust washer
34 - O-Ring
- Renew
35 - Idle speed spring
- Unhook when removing pump cover
- Do not over tension
36 - Bushing
37 - Idle speed boost shaft
38 - Thrust washer
