REQUIREMENTS

- Digital Volt/Ohm Meter (DVOM).

- Test Connector kit VW 1594 or Equivalent.

- Refer to Tools and Equipment for test equipment specifications.

TEST PROCEDURE

- Set DVOM to Ohms range.

- Measure resistance between the secondary outlet terminals of each double-ended coil.

Plug wire terminals 1 & 6, 3 & 4, and 2 & 5 are paired together.

- Secondary Resistance must be 9000 - 14000 ohms.
