Air Injection Check Valve: Testing and Inspection

REQUIREMENTS

- Hand Vacuum Pump US 8026 or equivalent.

- Auxiliary hose to fit the inlet on the Air Injection Check Valve.

TEST PROCEDURE

- Remove pressure hose from the inlet on the Air Injection Check Valve.

- Pull vacuum hose off Air Control Solenoid valve.

- Connect hand vacuum pump to vacuum hose to Air Injection Check Valve.

Note: Do not use compressed air during the following check!

- Connect auxiliary hose to connection for pressure hose and blow into it.

- Air Injection Check Valve must be closed. NO air can be blown through it.

- Operate hand vacuum pump.

- Air Injection Check Valve must open. Air must easily be blown through it.
