Canister Purge Control Valve: Description and Operation

Charcoal Canister By-Pass Valve:

PURPOSE
The [1][2]charcoal canister by-pass valve controls when fuel vapors stored in the charcoal canister are purged into the intake manifold. This is done by vacuum control.

LOCATION
Located on the R/H inner fender under the air cleaner assembly.
