Without A/C





NOTE: The fresh air blower is located in the plenum chamber of the engine compartment, and can be reached afier removing the fresh air blower housing.

1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
2. Remove the rubber seal from the front of the plenum chamber drip tray, then remove the drip tray by carefully prying off the retaining clips.
3. Remove the front fresh air blower housing cover by prying off all of the retaining clips.





4. Remove the clamping washer from the recirculation door lever and separate the lever at its pivot point. Remove the rear fresh air blower housing cover.
5. Detach the series resistor from its support.
6. Loosen the fresh air blower mounting screw and disconnect the harness connectors.
7. Remove the three mounting bolts and remove the lower fresh air blower housing cover.





8. Remove the fresh air blower cover.





9. Remove the blower by rotating it forward, toward the front of the car, and lifting it from its recess.

NOTE: Installation is the reverse of removal, replace any deformed or damaged soft seals.
