SUBJECT: 1990 VW WARRANTY POLICY GUIDELINES
The following repairs required on a new vehicle within the first 7,500 miles are presumed to be necessary to correct a defect in materials or workmanship and may therefore be performed under warranty:
^ Replacement of brake pads and brake shoe friction material
^ Replacement of original equipment light bulbs
^ Replacement of windshield wiper blade inserts
^ Mechanical/body adjustments
