REPLACE EMISSION LABEL
Dear Volkswagen Owner:
This is to inform you of a service action involving some 1990 California model
Volkswagen Corrado vehicles. Our records show that your car is one of the vehicles involved in this action.
Problem Description
Volkswagen has found that a number of 1990 California model Volkswagen Corrado vehicles were inadvertently manufactured with an incorrect emission information label.
Remedy
We would like to replace the incorrect label with a correct one. We have enclosed with this letter a new emission label which should be affixed to your car as per enclosed instructions. If you wish, you may affix the label yourself or, if you prefer, you may have the label affixed free of charge by your authorized Volkswagen dealer.
In either case, as soon as the label has been affixed, we ask that you please complete and return the enclosed self-addressed postage-free "Owner Reply Card" to us.
We regret any inconvenience this matter may cause, however, we want to make sure that your Volkswagen is equipped with the correct emission information label. Again, we ask that you complete and return the "Owner Reply Card" immediately after the label has been affixed.
