EMISSION LABEL REPLACEMENT
Dear Volkswagen Dealer:
This is to inform you of the initiation of a service action campaign involving some 1990
California model Volkswagen Corrado vehicles. The vehicles involved are within the following vehicle identification number range:
WVW___50_LK015402 - WVW___50_LK020393
Problem Description
Volkswagen has found that some 1990 model Corrado vehicles were inadvertently manufactured with an incorrect emission label.
Remedial Action
A new emission label must be affixed to each affected vehicle. Volkswagen will notify all known owners on or about August 17, 1990 as per attached copy of the notification letter. Each letter will have enclosed the new emission label, installation instructions and an "Owner Reply Card." Owners will be asked to affix the label themselves or seek the help of an authorized Volkswagen dealer. The self-addressed "Owner Reply Card" is used to confirm that the service action campaign has been completed.
Inventory Vehicles Please ensure that each affected vehicle in your inventory will be corrected prior to sale. We will supply one label for each individual vehicle identification number.

Time Allowance The time necessary for a dealer to affix the label is 10 T.U.
