3-Way Main Valve Resistance

1. Turn ignition off.
2. Connect multimeter to terminal No. 1 and No. 18 of the ABS 35-pin connector.
3. Set multimeter to 200 Ohm scale. If reading is not 2-5 ohms, proceed as follows:
a. Disconnect and measure 3-way main valve resistance at connector 17, Fig. 2.
b. If resistance is not as specified in step 3, replace hydraulic unit.
c. If resistance is as specified in step 3, check for continuity between 3-way main valve contact No. 1, and contact No. 18, of the ABS 35-pin connector.
d. If continuity exist in step C, check for continuity between 3-way main valve contact No. 2 and ground.
