Precautions

1. Ensure engine oil temperature is a minimum of 176°F.
2. All electrical accessories and A/C should be switched Off.
3. Disconnect any pressure measuring devices.
4. If any injection lines were loosened or replaced, raise engine speed above 3000 RPM several times and allow to idle for a minimum of two minutes.
5. Radiator fan should not be running during checking or adjusting.
6. Exhaust system must be tight and free of leakage.
7. Ensure oxygen sensor is operating properly.
