If the starter does not work, check and repair the following:
^ Battery voltage is OK
^ Battery and starter connections are not corroded
^ There is current at terminal 50 of starter when ignition key is turned to start position
If tests prove OK, the problem may be a broken starter bearing housing
Prevent recurrence of this problem by installing a starter support when replacing starter
