- VAG 1310 A Brake system test unit

Requirements
- Brake system (hydraulic unit, brake hoses, brake lines and brake calipers) operating properly and free of leaks.

Procedure
- Remove bleed screw at one front brake caliper. Connect pressure gauge from VAG 1310 and bleed gauge.
- Apply pressure to brake pedal until gauge indicates pressure of 50 bar (725 psi).
- Pressure must not drop by more than 4 bar (58 psi) during test period of 45 seconds
- Replace master cylinder if pressure drop is greater than specified.
