B-pillar trim lower, component layout


NOTE: To remove lower B-pillar trim, upper B-pillar trim must be removed first.







1 - Cross member sill
2 - Brackets
Distance of brackets from cross member, sill -2-.
- a=120 mm (4.7 in)
- b=200 mm (7.8 in)
3 - Bolt
- 40 Nm(30 ft lb)
4 - Belt retractor
5 - Seal
- After mounting lower B-pillar trim, ensure seal is positioned correctly.
6 - Lower B-pillar trim
7 - Clip
- 2-part
- Removal: unscrew inner section with Allen wrench
- Installation: press outer section and inner section simultaneously into mounting hole.
8 - Securing point for seat belt
