Front Door Window Glass: Tools and Equipment

- Tool kit VAG 1351 (handle -1 - and pulling handle -2-) to remove windshield or back and side windows that are not broken







- Caulk gun VAG 1628 or equivalent
- Double suction pad VAG 1344 or equivalent

- Protective goggles, gloves (leather)
- Utility knife
- Awl (from Tool kit VAG 1474) or equivalent
- Fabric or cloth tape







- Electric cutting tool VAG 1561 -1- or equivalent
- knife blade with stop roller VAG 1561/9 -2- for removal of broken side and rear windows
- Scraping knife VAG 1561 -3- to cut adhesive sealing material on window and/or on body flange


CAUTION: Tape around window opening with cloth or fabric tape to prevent damage to paint when removing/installing glass with electric cutter

- Adhesive remover D 002 00010 or equivalent
- Cutting wire 357 845 955


NOTE: If 300 ml cartridge is not sufficient, small (110 ml) adhesive sealant cartridge D 009 10003 or equivalent is recommended.
