Intake Air Plenum: Locations

NOTE: Components marked with a * are checked via On Board Diagnostic.
Components tagged with ** are checked via Output Diagnostic Test Mode(DTM).



1 1O Nm (7 ft lb.)

2 High tension cable guide

3 Vacuum hose-from Secondary Air Injection solenoid valve.

4 Tee piece

5 Vacuum hose-to connection

6 Test connection plug

7 Fuel pressure regulator

8 O-Ring
- Replace if damaged.
- Oil lightly before installing.

9 Retaining clip
- Ensure it is seated securely.

10 Fuel pressure regulator bracket.

11 Fuel return line
- Secure with spring clips.
- Ensure it is securely seated.
- Blue
- To fuel delivery unit in fuel tank.

12 Fuel supply line
- Secure with spring-type clips.
- Ensure it is securely seated.
- Black
- From fuel filter.

13 Fuel supply line

14 Banjo bolt-15 Nm (1O ft lb)

15 Oil seal
- Always replace.

16 2-Pin harness connector.
- Black
- For fuel injectors: N30, N31 N32, N33, N83, N84.

17 O-Ring
- Always replace.
- Oil lightly before installing.

18 Fuel Injectors N3O, N31, N32, N33, N83, N84 */**.
- Remove from lower intake manifold using 3O47A tool.

19 Harness connector
- For fuel injectors: N30, N31, N32, N33, N83, N84.

20 25 Nm (18 ft lb)

21 Left rear support-between intake manifold and cylinder head.

22 Lower intake manifold gasket
- Always replace.
- Note installed position.

23 Lower intake manifold

24 Dowel sleeve
- Ensure it is securely seated.

25 Intake manifold gasket
- Always replace.
- Note installed position.

26 Intake manifold

27 Retainer
- For Secondary Air Injection pump motor.

28 Hose connection
- Mounted to lower intake manifold.

29 Connecting hose
- To intake hose.

30 Right rear support
- Goes between intake manifold and cylinder head.
