Welded nut in long member, repairing
If thread in welded nut of long member is damaged, it can be repaired using Helicoil thread insert.





^ Drill through core of damaged weld nut -a- and -b-.

WARNING: Use protective glasses when drilling.

Notes:
^ Do not tilt drill when drilling.
^ Only use thread inserts with 1.5 incline.
^ Insert helicoil thread insert according to manufacturer's installation guidelines.
