U760E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

3. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE AIR BAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

Removal

8. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY

Removal

9. DISCONNECT NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Turn back the floor carpet.

(b) Remove the bolt and nut, and disconnect the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly.





10. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Move the shift lever to N.

(b) Disconnect the end of the transmission control cable assembly from the lower shift lever assembly.





(c) Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the lower shift lever assembly.

(d) Disconnect the wire harness clamp.





(e) Remove the nut and clip, and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly.





(f) Turn back the dash panel insulator.





(g) Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the transmission control cable assembly from the body.
