LIGHTING: FRONT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

HINT
* Use the same procedure for both the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure described below is for the LH side.
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE (for 5 Door) Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE (for 3 Door) Removal

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE (for 5 Door) Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP





(a) Remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip.

6. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP (for 5 Door)





(a) Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.

7. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER (for 5 Door) Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH





(a) Using "Torx" socket wrench T30, remove the screw.

(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the front door courtesy switch.
