Removal

THEFT DETERRENT: ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the connector and the harness clamp.

(b) Remove the 3 bolts.

(c) Disconnect the hood lock control cable, then remove the hood lock.
