Camshaft Gear/Sprocket Torque

CAMSHAFT TIMING GEAR ASSEMBLY

Tighten the flange bolt with the camshaft timing gear fixed.

Torque 100 Nm (1020 kgf-cm, 74 ft-lbf)

CAMSHAFT TIMING EXHAUST GEAR ASSEMBLY

Tighten the flange bolt with the camshaft timing exhaust gear fixed.

Torque 100 Nm (1020 kgf-cm, 74 ft-lbf)

CAMSHAFT TIMING GEARS AND NO. 2 CHAIN (for RH Bank)

Using SST to hold the hexagonal portion of each camshaft, tighten the bolts of the camshaft timing gear assembly and the camshaft timing exhaust gear assembly.

Torque 100 Nm (1020 kgf-cm, 74 ft-lbf)

CAMSHAFT TIMING GEARS AND NO. 2 CHAIN (for LH Bank)

Using SST to hold the hexagonal portion of each camshaft, tighten the bolts of the camshaft timing gear assembly and the camshaft timing exhaust gear assembly.

Torque 100 Nm (1020 kgf-cm, 74 ft-lbf)
