Introduction

To enhance the windshield wiper/washer performance, Toyota has introduced a new type of washer nozzle and cowl top cover with improved nozzle location.

^ 2007 model year Yaris Hatchback (3-door and 5-door model) vehicles.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure

Refer to the following chart for part replacement guidelines.

1. Replace the cowl top ventilator louver with the NEW style part.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), 2007 model year Yaris Repair Manual, Vehicle Exterior - Wiper/Washer - "Wiper and Washer: Washer Nozzle (for Hatchback): Adjustment".





2. Replace the washer nozzle with +20 type if vehicle was produced BEFORE the VIN break shown below:

3. Check washer fluid level and refill as necessary.

4. Verify correct operation of washer and wiper.
