High Mounted Stop Light Assembly (for Hatchback):

HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback)

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL




2. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT COVER
a. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 rear light covers.




b. Remove the 2 screws.




c. Disengage the 2 claws.
d. Disconnect the connector and remove the center stop light cover.




3. REMOVE HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the high mounted stop light.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Engage the 2 claws and install the high mounted stop light.




2. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT COVER
a. Connect the connector.
b. Engage the 2 claws.




c. Install the center stop light cover with the 2 screws.

NOTE: When reusing the center stop light cover, replace the screws with 90159-60303 screws to avoid insecure installation.




d. Engage the 4 claws and install the rear light cover.

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)
