Introduction

The front spoiler set is located in the luggage compartment at the assembly plant to avoid damage in transit.

Install the front spoiler set on the vehicle using the following procedure.

Applicable Vehicles

^ 2007 model year Prius vehicles.

Front Spoiler Set Contents

The front spoiler set contains the following items:

^ Front spoiler cover

^ Center engine under cover

^ Four (4) spring nuts

^ Five (5) screw grommets

^ Four (4) bolts

^ Five (5) self-tapping screws

Installation Procedure





1. Remove the 7 self-tapping screws from the front bumper cover.

NOTE:
These self-tapping screws are reused when installing the front spoiler cover.





2. Install the front spoiler cover with the 7 self-tapping screws.





3. Install the spring nuts to the right and left engine under covers.





4. Install the screw grommets to the center engine under cover.

5. Place the center engine under cover on the front spoiler cover.





Temporarily install the front part of the center engine under cover as shown in the illustration.

6. Temporarily install the center engine under cover using the 4 bolts.





7. Install the center engine under cover to the front spoiler cover using the 5 self-tapping screws.

8. Tighten the 4 bolts installed in step 6.
