IGCT Relay

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY (IGCT RELAY)

NOTE: IGCT relay is built into the integration relay.




a. Check the resistance of the HEV fuse.

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuse.




b. Measure the resistance of the IGCT relay.

If the standards are not met, replace the integration relay.
