Introduction

New on the 2003 model year Prius CD Deck and In-Dash CD Changer, the "Y" adapter harness is now built in. Current inventory of the Prius fitting kit for CD Deck and CD Changer (P/N 08695-47020) comes with a separate "Y" adapter harness that is no longer required for 2003 models, and should be discarded and not used. This existing inventory will be exhausted prior to the availability of a fitting kit (P/N 08695-47800) that excludes the "Y" adapter harness.
