Auxiliary Water Pump: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT FROM RADIATOR

HINT: It is not necessary to drain out all the coolant.

2. REMOVE CONVERTER AND INVERTER ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE WATER PUMP




a. Disconnect the connector and wire harness clamp.
b. Disconnect the water hoses from water pump.
c. Remove the bolt and refrigerant line bracket.
d. Remove the 3 bolts and water pump.

Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)






HINT:
At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
Push the water hose onto the water pump pipe as far as water pump unit and install the hose clip.

4. INSPECT HEATER PUMP
5. INSTALL HEATER PUMP
6. INSTALL CONVERTER AND INVERTER ASSEMBLY
7. FILL ENGINE COOLANT
