Auxiliary Cabin Heater: Service and Repair

INSPECTION

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND REINFORCEMENT
2. REMOVE BLOWER UNIT
3. REMOVE FOOT AIR DUCT

4. REMOVE PTC HEATER




a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 2 screws and rear foot duct.




c. Remove the 4 screws and PTC heater.

5. INSPECT PTC HEATER CONTINUITY
Refer to diagnostic information at Heating and Air Conditioning; Testing and Inspection.

6. INSTALL PTC HEATER
7. INSTALL BLOWER UNIT
8. INSTALL REINFORCEMENT AND INSTRUMENT PANEL
