Initial Inspection

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT TURN SIGNAL FLASHER CIRCUIT







a. Disconnect the connector from the turn signal flasher and inspect the connector on wire harness side as shown in the chart.




b. Connect the connector to tile turn signal flasher and inspect the wire harness side connector from the back side as shown in the chart.







2. INSPECT DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT MAIN RELAY CIRCUIT
a. Disconnect the connector from the relay and inspect the connector on the wire harness side.

3. ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

HINT: The light that is lit in the illuminated entry system is room lamp assy No.1.
a. Turn the ignition switch to OFF, close all the doors, and set the driver door in the lock condition.
b. Unlock the driver door and open any of the doors, and check that the room lamp assy No.1 goes on. Close the door and check that the room lamp assy No.1 goes off in about 15 seconds.
c. Turn the ignition switch to ON and open and close any other of the doors. Check that the room lamp assy No.1 goes off immediately.
d. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
e. Open and close any of the doors to turn on the room lamp assy No.1. Before the room lamp assy No.1 goes off in about 15 seconds, turn the ignition switch to ON. Check that the room lamp assy No.1 goes off immediately.
f. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
g. Open and close any of the doors to turn on the room lamp assy No.1. Before the room lamp assy No.1 goes off in about 15 seconds, lock the driver door. Check that the room lamp assy No.1 goes off immediately.
