Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT






NOTE: To prevent deterioration, do not shock the accelerator pedal position sensor.

1. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector.




b. Remove the 2 bolts and accelerator pedal assembly (W/ accelerator pedal position sensor) from the body.

2. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY
a. Install the accelerator pedal assembly with the 2 bolts to the body.

Torque: 16 N.m (163 kgf.cm, 12 ft.lbf)

b. Connect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector.

3. INSPECT SYSTEM OPERATION
