Overhaul
DISASSEMBLY1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
Remove the 6 screws and No. 1 heater to register duct.
2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE
3. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.
4. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.
5. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE
Remove the 3 screws and defroster nozzle.
6. REMOVE CENTER BRACKET
Remove the screw and center bracket.
7. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA
Remove the 2 screws and navigation antenna.
8. REMOVE NO. 1 PINS
Remove the 2 screws and 2 No. 1 pins.
9. REMOVE NO. 1 SAFETY PAD
Remove the 8 screws and No. 1 safety pad.
10. REMOVE NO. 2 SAFETY PAD
Remove the 6 screws and No. 2 safety pad.
11. REMOVE NO. 1, NO. 2, NO. 3 AND NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHIONS
a. Using a heat light, heat the instrument panel cushions surface to 20 - 30 degrees C (68 - 86 degrees F).
NOTE: Do not heat the instrument panel cushions and instrument panel excessively.
b. Remove the instrument panel cushions.
REASSEMBLY
1. INSTALL NO. 1, NO. 2 NO. 3 AND NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHIONS
a. Using a heat light, heat the instrument panel mounting surface to 20 - 30 degrees C (68 - 86 degrees F).
NOTE: Do not heat the instrument panel excessively.
b. Remove the adhesive tape from the instrument panel.
c. If reusing the instrument panel cushions:
Apply new adhesive tapes.
1. Using a heat light, heat the instrument panel cushions to 20 - 30 degrees C (60 - 86 degrees F).
2. Remove the adhesive tape from the instrument panel cushions.
3. Apply new adhesive tapes to the instrument panel cushions as shown in the illustration.
d. Using a heat light, heat the instrument panel cushions and instrument panel to 20 - 30 degrees C (68 - 86 degrees F).
NOTE: Do not heat the instrument panel cushions and instrument panel excessively.
e. Peel the release sheets from the face of adhesive tapes.
NOTE: When the release sheet is removed, make sure that no dirt or dust can get onto the uncoated area.
f. Install the instrument panel cushions to the instrument panel.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 SAFETY PAD
4. INSTALL NO. 1 PINS
5. INSTALL NAVIGATION ANTENNA
6. INSTALL CENTER BRACKET
7. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE
8. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
9. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE
11. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
