Connecting Rod Bolts
Standard Diameter 7.860 - 8.000 mm (0.3094 - 0.3150 inch)
Minimum Diameter 7.60 mm (0.2992 inch)

Tightening Torque
Step 1 25 Nm (18 ft.lb)
Step 2 Turn 90°

Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under the heads of the connecting rod cap bolts.

Install and alternately tighten the 2 connecting rod cap nuts in several passes.
