Removal and Installation

COMPONENTS

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
a. Front Door Scuff Plate RH
b. Cowl Side Trim RH
c. Under Cover
d. No.2 Instrument Lower Panel
e. Center Finish Cluster Panel




2. REMOVE ECM
a. Disconnect the connectors.
b. Remove the 2 nuts and ECM.




3. REMOVE AIR DUCT RH (Foot)
Release the 2 claws and remove the air duct.




4. Manual A/C only:
DISCONNECT AIR INLET [1][2]CONTROL CABLE
a. Remove the 4 A/C control assembly set screws and pull it.
b. Disconnect the air inlet [1][2]control cable from A/C control assembly.




5. DISCONNECT CONNECTOR BRACKET
a. Disconnect the connectors.
b. Remove the 2 screws and disconnect the bracket.




6. REMOVE BLOWER UNIT
a. Disconnect the connectors.
b. Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector clamp.
c. Remove the bolt, nut and 2 screws.
d. Remove the blower unit.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL BLOWER UNIT
a. Install the blower unit with the bolt, nut and 2 screws.
b. Connect the connectors.
c. Connect the evaporator temperature sensor connector.
d. Install air duct (Foot).

2. Manual A/C only:
CONNECT AIR INLET [1][2]CONTROL CABLE




a. Pass the air inlet [1][2]control cable to the blower unit as shown in the illustration.




b. Connect air inlet [1][2]control cable.
1. Pull out the inner of air inlet cable and hit the link of blower unit on the link stopper.
2. Set the cable connector to lever pin and clamp the cable outer.




c. Install the 4 A/C control assembly set screws.




3. INSTALL CONNECTOR BRACKET
a. Install the connector bracket with the 2 screws.
b. Connect the connectors.




4. INSTALL ECM
a. Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.
b. Connect the connectors.

5. INSTALL THESE PARTS:
a. Center Finish Cluster Panel
b. No.2 Instrument Lower Panel
c. Under Cover
d. Cowl Side Trim RH
e. Front Door Scuff Plate RH
