Bank 1 Sensor 2 Testing and Inspection

HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR INSPECTION BANK 1 SENSOR 2

Inspect heater resistance of heated oxygen sensor.
(Bank 1 Sensor 2)
- Remove the driver's seat.
- Take out the console box side of the floor carpet.
- Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

Ohmmeter Connection:

- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT.

Resistance: At 20°C(68°F) 11 - 16 Ohms

- If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.

Torque: 20 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf)

- Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
- Reinstall the floor carpet.
- Reinstall the driver's seat.
