Bank 1 and Bank 2 Sensor 1 Testing and Inspection

HEATED OXYGEN SENSORS INSPECTION BANKS 1 AND 2 SENSOR 1

1. Inspect heater resistance of heated oxygen sensors.
(BANK 1, 2 SENSOR 1)
- Disconnect the oxygen sensor connectors.

Ohmmeter Connection:

- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT.

Resistance: At 20°C (68°F) 11 - 16 Ohms

- If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.

Torque: 44 N.m (450 kgf.cm, 33 ft.lbf)
