1. Using a suitable ohmmeter, check relay continuity as follows:
a. Ensure continuity exists between terminals 85 and 86, Fig. 11.
b. Ensure continuity exists between terminals 30 and 87.
c. Apply battery voltage across terminals 85 and 86.
d. Ensure continuity does not exist between terminals 30 and 87.
e. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.
