DTC 64 - Shift Solenoid Valve SL Circuit

SL Solenoid Valve Circuit:

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. Check SL solenoid valve.

SL Solenoid Valve Connector:

a. Check SL solenoid valve connector connections.
b. Measure resistance between SL solenoid valve connector terminal and body ground.

Resistance: 11 - 16 Ohms

c. Listen for a click while applying battery positive (+) to the connector terminal of the SL solenoid valve.
d. Check continuity of the solenoid valve wire.

Resistance: less than 1 Ohm

OK - Go to step 2.
NG - Repair or replace solenoid valve or wire as indicated.

2. Check for continuity in the harness and connectors between electronically controlled transaxle (ECT) solenoid connector and engine control module (ECM).
OK - Replace ECM
NG - Repair or replace harness or connector as indicated.
