Data Trouble Code No. 13 - G, NE Signal Circuit (No. 2)

Detecting Condition
# 1 - No NE signal to engine control module (ECM) for 0.1 seconds or more at 1,000 rpm or more.
or
# 2 - NE signal does not pulse 12 times to engine control module while NE signal is input 4 times to the ECM during the interval between G1 and G2 pulses.

Trouble Area
^ Open or short in NE circuit.
^ Distributor.
^ Engine Control Module.

Malfunction Indicator Lamp (CHECK engine lamp)
Normal Mode ON - Indicates condition # 1.
Test Mode OFF

Normal Mode OFF
Test Mode ON - Indicates condition # 2.
