Data Trouble Code No. 13 - G, NE Signal Circuit (No. 2)

Detecting Condition
# 1 - No NE signal to engine control module (ECM) for 0.3 seconds or more at 1,500 rpm or more.
or
# 2 - No G signal to ECM while NE signal is input 4 times to the ECM when engine speed is between 500 and 4,000 rpm.

Trouble Area
^ Open or short in NE circuit.
^ Distributor.
^ Engine Control Module.

Malfunction Indicator Lamp (CHECK engine lamp)
Normal Mode ON - Indicates condition # 1.
Test Mode OFF
Normal Mode OFF
Test Mode ON - Indicates condition # 2.
