Blower Motor: Service and Repair

BLOWER UNIT REMOVAL





1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT

2. REMOVE ECU AND ECU BRACKET





3. REMOVE CONNECTOR BRACKET
(a) Disconnect the connector from the connector bracket.
(b) Remove the 2 screws and the bracket.





4. REMOVE BLOWER UNIT
(a) Disconnect the connectors from the blower unit.
(b) Lever type:
Disconnect the air inlet damper control cable.
(c) Remove the 3 screws, nut and the blower unit.

BLOWER UNIT INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BLOWER UNIT
(a) Install the blower unit with the three screws an one nut.
(b) Connect the air inlet damper control cable to the blower unit.
(c) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL CONNECTOR BRACKET

3. INSTALL ECU BRACKET AND ECU

4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT
