Catalytic Converter: Testing and Inspection

1. Check for dents or damage to the heat insulators. If any dents are found that contact the body of the TWC, repair or replace the insulator.




2. Check the heat shields over the rear TWC for proper clearance from the TWC and the vehicle floorboard.

3. Check all connections for looseness, cracks or damage.
